Kerala Agricultural University has initiated several efforts to promote urban agriculture especially house terrace cultivation. The response from the farmers were very positive which persuaded KAU to initiate a scheme to facilitate urban agriculture in Thiruvanathapuram corporation by providing both technical and marketing support. This scheme is implemented and monitored by a team of scientists from College of Agriculture, Vellayani.The unique feature of this scheme is that urban farmers in Thiruvannathapuram corporation can interact with the scientists of KAU through this website.
